THOMSON REUTERS HIGHQ

HighQ consultancy.
From process to implementation.

Independent consulting and development for law firms using Thomson Reuters HighQ. We help you define the work, configure the platform and build the applications or integrations your process needs.

Discuss your HighQ project

Start with the work.
Then shape the platform.

A new HighQ workspace needs more than a list of features. Your team needs to know what information to capture, who owns each request and what happens next. An existing workspace may need a clearer structure or a focused application to address a recurring task.

Oryon Legal brings HighQ consultancy and custom development together. We work with your team to agree the scope, design the records and permissions, and build a first version that can be tested against real ways of working.

HighQ implementation services

We plan and configure sites, iSheets, views and workflows around a defined legal process. Before introducing a solution into live work, we agree access rules, test common scenarios and exceptions, and review the result with the people who will use it.

Custom HighQ development

When a process needs a more focused interface, we build custom applications and portal experiences within HighQ. That might mean a matter tracker, a structured intake journey or a tool that works with existing iSheet records.

HighQ integrations

We scope connections between HighQ data and the tools involved in your workflow. We identify the source of each value, the permissions required and how failures should be handled before building a connection. Available APIs, licences and access determine what is feasible.

A focused scope.
A working first version.

Bring us one process that is difficult to manage today: a recurring request, a spreadsheet import or a document your team repeatedly prepares from the same data. We begin with its users and decisions, then map the configuration and development it needs.

  • Discovery. Review the current process and relevant HighQ configuration. Agree the problem, constraints and success criteria.
  • Design. Define records, roles, views and hand-offs. Decide where platform configuration is sufficient and where custom development is useful.
  • Implementation. Build the agreed scope, test typical work and exceptions, and review the solution with your team before rollout.

Applications we have built

Our Excel importer for HighQ iSheets maps spreadsheet columns and validates rows before creating records. Our G-28 form generator for HighQ prepares an editable PDF draft from a reviewed iSheet record. These are concrete examples of focused development, with configuration and testing needed for each firm's environment.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Questions about HighQ consulting.

Can you improve an existing HighQ implementation?

Yes. We review the relevant workspace and process before proposing changes. That gives us a basis for agreeing which configuration to retain, what to improve and where a focused application would help.

Do we need custom development for every HighQ project?

No. We first consider the platform configuration already available. Custom development is appropriate when the agreed process needs an interface or connection beyond that configuration.

Are you part of Thomson Reuters?

Oryon Legal is an independent consultancy. HighQ is a Thomson Reuters product and trademark.

What should we bring to an initial discussion?

A description of the process, the roles involved, the relevant HighQ modules and a sanitised example of the information you work with. Tell us which part of the current process is difficult to manage.

About the platform: HighQ from Thomson Reuters.
