THOMSON REUTERS HIGHQ

G-28 form generator for HighQ.
From record to reviewed draft.

An application built by Oryon Legal for immigration teams using Thomson Reuters HighQ. Map an iSheet record to G-28 fields and generate an editable PDF draft for review and signature.

Discuss this application

Use the data
your team already holds.

Preparing a G-28 can involve copying the same client and representative details from a matter record into a PDF. Our HighQ application gives that task a repeatable mapping and review process.

You choose one accessible iSheet record, connect its columns to the supported PDF fields and review the current values. Reusable mappings help prepare subsequent drafts from the same iSheet structure. Unmapped fields remain blank, and you can supply manual values for the current document.

How a draft is prepared

  • Select a record. Choose the iSheet and the record containing the information for this draft.
  • Map the fields. Connect supported columns to PDF fields and review any manual values.
  • Review current data. The application refreshes the record before generation. Changes require another review.
  • Generate the PDF. Open or download an editable four-page draft. Signatures and signing dates remain blank.

Keep the document with the work

Where configured, a separate action saves the generated PDF to a selected HighQ folder. Generating a draft does not automatically save it to the matter workspace.

A focused application
for G-28 preparation.

This release supports G-28. It works with one record at a time and does not prepare a complete immigration filing package. Your team chooses representation and consent values and reviews the document before signature and use.

Reusable mappings, clear review

Mappings are associated with the iSheet structure and the supported template. Reusing a mapping does not remove the need to review each record and the resulting PDF. A template change requires checking the field mappings again.

Prepare it for your environment

We configure the relevant iSheet fields and optional destination folders, then test the workflow with sanitised sample records and the intended user roles. The application has been tested in our HighQ environment with an administrator account and fictional sample data. Your team's data structure and permissions need their own validation before rollout.

The current supported template is the 09/17/18 edition. Before client rollout, we check the supported template against USCIS's current form requirements. Your team should also confirm the required edition and review the generated draft before using it.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Questions about this application.

Can it autofill a G-28 from HighQ?

It fills supported fields from the selected iSheet record using your mapping. Missing values and unmapped fields stay blank; the result is an editable draft for your team to review.

Does it sign or file the form?

No. It prepares a PDF draft. Signatures and signing dates stay blank, and the application does not submit the form.

Can we reuse a field mapping?

Yes, for the same supported iSheet structure and template. Each selected record and generated document still needs review.

Does it support other USCIS forms or batch generation?

Only G-28 is supported in this release, one record at a time. Additional templates or batch workflows would require separate development.
